PERFORMANCE:

These are excellent opportunities to know and enjoy Oriental dance.

Gimna uses the universal language of dance to unveil the mystery and passion of the dances of the "Thousand and one nights and the silk route".


The possibilities of performance are as follows:

1-One dance with studio pre-recorded music

2-One dancer one musician with different oriental instruments and voice

 

 

CLASSES:

The classes are given throughout the year and are carried out in a progressive manner, in a warm and enjoyable environment.


There are also several different events on the program, such as intensive seminars and workshops, where specialized topics related to Oriental dance are carried out.

BIOGRAPHY

Gimna Maritza holds a Bachelor’s Degree in information Science; she is a dancer and teacher of Oriental Dance and Body Self-expression, with Graduate studies of Psychomotility, Certificate in Art of movements and teaching.

Nahr- Litani Festival award Winner. She as written and published in magazines several articles about dance.

Along with her regular studies, Gimna has always studied dance in which she has received a comprehensive education. She studied in the Tirknia Kabelioz School , and her love for the art has led her on many trips to the East to research into dance sources and to improve her knowledge with masters like Sahlima Halabi, Nohra Lausell, Selahattin Civaz, Rakia Hasan, Afifi, Fathi Andraws, among others.

Gimna combines performance, choreography, teaching and training students and oriental dance. In class she combines her own methods, fruit of her studies, evolution and great teaching experience.

She is also familiar with the Middle East folkloric styles and has practiced Tantric Dance, Deviyana dance, Sufi Dance, Ludic Movements, Body Awareness.
